We’re a growing startup, and we’ve invested heavily in developing a cutting-edge AI solution. As a result, we cannot offer a base salary at this time. We’re looking for a driven sales professional who can leverage their industry connections, hunt for opportunities, and reap the rewards of a robust commission structure.
Collaborative Expert Team
You’ll work directly with founders and the vice president of strategy and marketing, who bring 25 years of experience in business strategy, ensuring you have the support and industry know-how to succeed.
Empowering the Manufacturing Sector
Canada’s manufacturing sector in the GTA is keen to remain competitive. Our AI solution addresses real pain points, giving you a valuable and relevant offering to sell.
1. Industry Experience
-
Industry experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally within the manufacturing sector or with software/technical solutions targeting manufacturers.

An existing network of decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs, operations managers, etc.) in manufacturing companies across the GTA is a huge plus.
2. Sales Acumen

Demonstrated ability to drive the full sales cycle—from initial outreach and discovery to contract negotiation and closure.

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to clearly articulate value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
3. Technical Aptitude & Adaptability
-
Willingness and ability to learn the basics of AI technology, including how our tool automates and optimizes continuous business planning.

Comfortable discussing ROI, cost-saving, and productivity metrics with potential clients.
4. Self-Starter Mindset

Thrives in a commission-only environment, driven by closing deals and building a robust pipeline.

Highly organized, proactive, and persistent in pursuing leads and following up on opportunities.

Eager to partner with founders and possibly external consultants for product demos and deeper technical discussions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Market & Account Strategy
-
Identify and prioritize target manufacturers in the GTA, tapping into your personal network and industry events.

Collaborate with the founders and the vice president to shape go-to-market strategies and outreach campaigns tailored to manufacturing clients.

Utilize both your existing connections and company-provided leads to spark initial conversations with plant managers, operations directors, and executive teams.

Conduct discovery calls and in-person visits to understand clients’ operational challenges and articulate how our AI tool addresses those needs.

Deliver compelling presentations and demos—both virtually and on-site—to showcase how our AI business planning platform can drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance competitiveness for manufacturers.

Clearly translate technical features and consulting insights into tangible ROI, operational improvements, and strategic advantages.
4. Proposal Development & Negotiation

Draft customized proposals, taking into account each prospect’s unique manufacturing processes and business goals.

Lead contract negotiations in alignment with our company’s guidelines and the client’s requirements, driving deals to close.
5. Relationship Building & Account Management

6. Feedback Loop & Continuous Improvement
